ILLUMINATI: Criminals using social media to con Kenyans of their money

Posted by Group Kenya on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 1:36 pm

There has been a rising trend on Kenyan social media avenues where unsuspecting Kenyans are lured by promises of quick riches. The operatives of these poorly organized schemes claim they are agents of a sect calling itself Illuminati and promise that they will help burdened poor Kenyans join the sect where they will have unlimited riches.

The excerpt below comes from a typical post created by one of the con men calling himself Kennedy Nyangweso Lusaka:

MY NAME IS TRIZA WANGARE AND I AM GLAD TO BE AMONG THE 78 PEOPLE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES TO LUCIFER IN A COLORFUL EVENT PRESIDED OVER BY AGENT #KENNEDY #NYANGWESO #LUSAKA A FEW DAYS AGO IN ELDORET TOWN. I ACTUALLY APPRECIATE MY CURRENT CONDITION SINCE I WAS FORMALLY FACING A VERY TOUGH FINANCIAL SITUATION FOLLOWING MY LONG TERM UNEMPLOYMENT SITUATION. I INSTANTLY RECEIVED MY KSH. 200,000/ CHEQUE IMMEDIATELY I CONFESSED MY FAITH IN THE CULT AND ALL MY FINANCIAL SHORTCOMINGS WERE BROUGHT TO AN END AS I REPLANNED MY LIFESTYLE TO SUIT MY DESIRE. I PERSONALLY THANK THE AGENT VERY MUCH FOR HAVING BROUGHT ME THIS FAR SINCE I NEVER THOUGHT THAT I COULD MAKE IT ALONE AFTER MY SEVERAL ATTEMPTS PROVING FUTILE WHEN I LANDED INTO THE HANDS OF SCAMMERS. I WISH TO APPEAL TO ALL THOSE FACING DIFFICULT FINANCIAL SITUATIONS TO MAKE UP THEIR MINDS AND JOIN US FOR A BETTER FUTURE. ILLUMINATI FOREVER!! HAIL SATAN! HAIL 666!!.****************************************************************,***************************************************************************. FOR MORE DETAILS ON HOW TO JOIN ILLUMINATI, CALL/TEXT OR WHATSAPP THE MOST FEARED AND TRUSTED KENYAN AGENT ON 0716636277. SERIOUS AND DECIDED CALLERS ONLY!

Members of the public and readers of this statement are advised to avoid the scammers like a plague. Don’t get in touch with them, don’t respond to them and never pick their calls. If you have the time, report them to relevant authorities.

If you ignore this advice and agree to get duped by their “get-rich-quick” schemes, you will be left mostly broke, likely in debt and the only thing you will be able to pay will be attention. Needless to mention that you will wish you had paid attention to this statement.

Social media profiles found to be associated with this conning scheme so far are:
Kennedy Nyangweso Lusaka
Richard Muyeyia (Currently going by the false name of Triza Wangare)
Idemudia Pavlon
